Here are two cards from our most recent card swap that use Stampin' UP! products exclusively. Lynn used the Sheltering Tree set to produce the lovely fall tree. This has to be one of the most lovely cards I've seen lately. I made the second card using the Wish You Well stamp set. I had to laugh because Susan Levasseur did a video almost exactly like my card and said she bought the set just for the cute bow! Me, too! A HUGE shout out and big THANK YOU to Vicki and Darlene for the cute card easels! They are wonderful!

Here are our cards from Tonia's workshop. The first utilizes the Cauldron Bubble Bundle and the Spooky Bats Punch. The second is created with the Dashing Deer Bundle and the Frost White Shimmer Paint. The later uses the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and copper embossing powder. It was designed by Gail Ellis. Lot's of goodies to post today! First, the two cards we made at Klarissa's party. 

This card was made from the wonderful Dashing Deer Bundle in the Holiday Catalog.

This card uses the Stitched Labels Framelits and Petal Promenade DSP to make a quick but beautiful birthday card.

 I finally had a moment to play with my pre-order items from the new Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog! This catalog goes live January 3 and I can't wait to show you what it has in store. This card is made from a stamp set called Waterfront. I love it! So easy to get that watercolor look from a simple stamp. I also used the new blender pen in Soft Sky for the sky and it really was so easy to add that pretty detail. The two little jewels are also new from the glitter and clear epoxy shapes and colored with the darker Soft Sky blender pen. The little scalloped circle used with the title is the new 1 3/8 inch circle punch. I know that I'll be using it and its partner, the 1 1/8 inch scallop punch, a lot!

New Beginnings

I know that it has been forever since I blogged last, but I have decided I want to start things up again now that I have retired! I also started a new endeavor with Stampin' UP! as an independent demonstrator almost two years ago. Things have been going well and I have to say I absolutely love the product and love, love the company. I'm really loving how easy this is to do digitally!  I already have next week's pages ready for the photos to be dropped in and journaled.  Quick and easy-but it will never replace paper!  Ha!

Rain, rain!

After the drought we have had for the past three years, I won't ever say rain, rain go away, but hopefully we won't need a boat to get around.  Our school flooded today-4-5 inches of water in about 13 classrooms including the library.  Our pond that was so dry in November is now way up high on the banks and actually got within about 6 inches of our driveway.

My husband came home at lunch and started looking for our dog.  Well, he could hear his nails tapping and thought he was upstairs, so he went up and no Spencer.  But it kept sounding like he was upstairs-tap, tap, tap.  My hubby finally went into the bathroom and found the Spenster in the bathtub!  Smart dog-he must have heard them on the radio saying that an inside bathroom with no window was the safest place in the house!  How he shut the door is still a mystery!  Any way, hope you enjoy our rain photos.  By the way, forecast for tomorrow is.........more rain!

The sidewalk by my classroom-what you can't see a sidewalk?  Well it's there under about 8 inches of water!
